It's interesting to note that in the New Testament, there are four secular Greek writers quoted or alluded to: 1 Corinthians 15:33 points to Menander, Thais 218, Acts 17:28 points to Epimenides (and later Aratus, Phaenomena 5), Titus 1:12-13 points to Epimenides (de Oraculis) by calling him a prophet of the Cetans, and finally Acts 12; 26:14 points to Euripides (The Bacchae). As far as references to Apocryphal/Pseudepigraphal works, the Epistle of Jude and 2 Peter (Jude 4,6,13,14-15, 2 Peter 2:4;3:13) quotes or alludes to the Book of Enoch (1 Enoch 1:9), Jude 9 alludes to a lost section of the Assumption of Moses, and 2 Corinthians 11:14; 12:2 quotes or aludes to the Life of Adam and Eve.
