I grew up Roman Catholic and in many ways was the "model" Catholic. I was
baptized, went to CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) throughout my
school years ,did my first communion, was confirmed, and even worked on
Catholic retreats as an instructor. I knew my priest and even visited him at
the rectory to discuss the Bible, which he hardly knew. I am very familiar with
Roman Catholic doctrine
and it greatly disturbs me that they have departed so far from the Scriptures
throughout the years.
